Choose your colours

The first step of the painting process is colour choice. This will need to be done before the painters arrive. A colour consultation can be arranged if needed.

  • Pick your sheen (flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss)

  • Decide on colour scheme for each room.

  • Do you want feature walls?

  • Are we painting ceilings, walls, trim?

  • Choose your colours!

Preparation

The key to any beautiful long lasting paint finish is proper surface preparation. This includes.

  • Make sure surface are clean.

  • Remove all loose and peeling paint

  • Patch holes and cracks with drywall compound

  • Fill gaps in trim with quality caulking

  • Lightly sand all surface to ensure proper adhesion

  • Remove sanding dust.

  • Prime all bare drywall or filled areas

  • Remove faceplates, blinds, pictures/wall hangings

  • Apply tape, paper, and plastic to areas prior to painting

Paint

Two or more coats of high quality paint are applied to all areas being painted to insure proper coverage and durability.

  • Make sure surfaces are clean.

  • Remove sanding dust.

  • Prime all bare drywall and filled areas

Clean Up

After painting is complete we do a thorough cleaning of all work areas. 

  • Remove all tape, paper, and plastic

  • Sweep/vacuum floors

  • Furniture is returned to original location if moved

  • Faceplates, blinds, pictures are put back up

Walk through

It's time to show off our work. We will walk through all areas with you to make sure you are completely satisfied will all our work.

  • Inspect every room painted with you

  • Make a list of any touch ups

  • Complete any touch ups found

  • All leftover paint will be left with you
